Old Fashioned Christmas Social
What it's all about
The Old Fashioned Christmas Social is a gathering hosted by the Library Foundation, for the citizens of Western North Dakota. It is a once a year event that features a selection of appetizers, live music, wassail, a silent auction, wine pull, and more. The proceeds from the event help fund library programs, pay for essential repairs, and to purchase new resources for the Dickinson Area Public Library. But beyond that it is an evening spent with some of the most charitable and enjoyable members of our community.

The future of Old Fashioned Christmas
The Library Foundation has been exploring online options to allow those who wish to participate in Old Fashioned Christmas but can be there in person. In 2020 the Library Foundation had its first ever Old Fashioned Christmas online, and it was a smashing success. It is our hope that a return to the in person event we all know and love will be possible in the future, but for those that enjoyed our online offerings they will be making a return next year along side our other events.
